AIR ONE Technics, based in the UAE, provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and continuing airworthiness management (CAMO) services across AIR ONE’s fleet. Purpose The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the movement of aircraft components, spares, consumables and other materials across the operation. The role ensures that inbound and outbound shipments are planned and executed efficiently, with particular focus on the timely delivery of materials required for aircraft maintenance and operational continuity. Working closely with Procurement, MCC, Finance, Stores and Station Operations, the role also coordinates freight forwarders, couriers and customs brokers. It manages customs and regulatory requirements, shipment documentation, urgent AOG movements and bulk freight solutions. Through effective planning, compliance and cost control, the role helps maintain material availability, minimise delays and support safe, reliable and cost-effective aircraft operations. Main objectives Material Availability: Ensure aircraft components, spares, consumables and materials reach the required locations on time to support maintenance and operational needs. AOG Responsiveness: Maintain effective 24/7 coordination and escalation for AOG and other time-critical shipments. Compliance and Control: Maintain compliant import/export movements, accurate documentation, shipment visibility and audit readiness. Cost and Service Optimisation: Secure efficient and economical freight solutions through effective provider management, bulk-shipment RFPs and cost-saving initiatives. Continuous Improvement: Use logistics data to identify delays, improve shipment performance and strengthen end-to-end material flow.
