It’s been a busy few weeks for our fleet, with two AIR ONE Boeing 747s returning to service following major maintenance programmes.

ER-BAM, operated by AeroTransCargo, returned to service on 25 August following a C04 Check and additional scheduled maintenance. The work included an engine replacement, landing gear replacement and a full repaint into the new AIR ONE livery.

ER-BAM is the first aircraft in our fleet to wear the new livery, making its return to service a particularly significant moment for AIR ONE.

Meanwhile, G-UNET, operated by One Air, has also returned to operations following a combined C Check and D Check under UK CAA approval. The work included engine replacements, structural work and a full repaint into the One Air livery.

Both projects involved extensive coordination between our teams and GMF AeroAsia, with production, engineering, quality and supporting teams working together to keep everything moving.

Leigh Abbott, Outsourced Maintenance Manager at One Air, praised the teams for their responsiveness and support throughout the G-UNET project, particularly during its early stages.

Two aircraft, two major maintenance programmes, and a lot of people working behind the scenes to get them back in the air.

A big thank you to everyone involved. ER-BAM and G-UNET are back where they belong: flying.
