Certifying / Flying Engineer B1 & B2 (EASA)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and certify line maintenance activities on endorsed aircraft and engine types
• Ensure compliance with EASA regulations and company procedures
• Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and technical documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, reliability, and efficiency in maintenance operations

Candidate Requirements

• Licence:
  • Valid EASA Part-66 Licence with the following type ratings:
    • Boeing 747-400 with PW4000 & CF6 engines
• Type Training:
  • Completed type training delivered by a EASA Part-147 approved organisation
• Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within a Part-145 Maintenance Organisation, with proven competence in line maintenance
• Education:
  • College degree or higher (or equivalent qualification) in aviation, engineering, or related field
• Language:
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Previous Authorisation:
  • Holder of QA Authorization (Support Staff or Certifying Staff) from a previous employer
• Mandatory Training:
  • Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS)
  • Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) / Critical Design Configuration Control Limitations (CDCCL) – Level 2
  • Human Factors
• Recent Experience Validation:
  • Logbook signed by the Quality Director of the candidate’s current or previous employer, confirming relevant experience within the last 2 years / 6 months
